He joins the position of General Manager of Cellular Glass Nordic AS (CGN), a subsidiary of Foamrox, while also contributing to the day-to-day operations of the parent company. For the past three years he has held the position of Sales Director of SGGC GmbH, a leading manufacturer of cell glass production lines based in Germany.

Glenn A. Jakobsen, General Manager of Foamrox, expresses great pleasure at Helgesen's return to Foamrox and notes that Helgesen brings with him significant insight and knowledge, as well as a number of innovative ideas that will help shape the way forward for both Foamrox and CGN.

With exciting projects on the horizon and significant advances in product development over the past three years, the company's future is very exciting. Helgesen will play a central role in our international ambitions and will particularly focus on the establishment of a cell glass factory here in Norway.”

Kjell Håkon Helgesen is a graduate civil engineer with additional education in administration and economics, and has extensive international experience from management positions in the construction and construction industry.

“Foamrox is an incredibly exciting and innovative company to be a part of again and I am really looking forward to joining us in further developing the company. Foamrox is based on cell glass plates made from recycled glass and we want to be able to manufacture these products here in Norway with a factory. This will result in even lower greenhouse gas emissions on all our products, which will improve their environmental performance,” says Helgesen.
