Proposals for a new National Transport Plan 2025-2036 (NTP) will be submitted to the Storting in spring 2024.
In order to work on a new NTP, the ministries need to assess the effect and cost of existing greenhouse gas emission reduction measures, as well as whether there are new/other instruments that may have a climate impact and that should be included in the new NTP. In this regard, the transport companies have been given two tasks: an assessment mission and a prioritisation mission. Responses to the mission have now been submitted for consultation with a deadline of July 3.
On Friday, May 26, 10:00 - 11:00 a.m., VIA invites its members to a workshop. The purpose of the workshop is to get input on what is important in the next NTP period.
VIA will subsequently write a consultation response based on the input from the members.
We hope as many people as possible want to participate and share their input.
